Denny Hamlin scored his fifth 2020 NASCAR win in the Super Start Batteries 400 Presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts at Kansas Speedway. Watch a recap video of the race above.

I was off last week so I did not get to do my typical pre or post race blog. However, Brad Keselowski finished second with Martin Truex Jr. finishing third. There are just seven races remaining in the regular season. Ten of the spots in the 16-driver field for the post-season have been filed by drivers with at least one win. That leaves six more spots to be filled by either new 2020 winners or the drivers with the most points.

The next chance to clinch a Playoff spot comes Sunday, August 2nd in the Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 on the “Magic Mile” of New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
