A BIG change is coming for Walmart…they will not be open on Thanksgiving!
This is the first time Walmart stores will be closed on the holiday since the 80’s.
On Tuesday, the retail chain made the announcement and sent a memo to employees announcing that they anticipate holiday shopping will be different this year, so they will be closing the store on Thanksgiving Day.
They take care of you and we want to take care of them. Along with special cash bonuses this quarter, we will be closing…

This is good news for employees who can now spend the day with their families, although some employees liked to work for the holiday pay.
This is not good news for those of us who always forget at least one ingredient (and it’s always the ingredient you can’t substitute or do without) for our favorite dish, so we need to run to the store on Thanksgiving day haha! But, we will all just have to make our grocery list and check it twice, like Santa checks his Naughty/Nice list at Christmas.
What do you think about the change?
