It’s the question everyone has been asking…will we get another stimulus check?

Maybe. Also, maybe not.

If you think that’s confusing, you aren’t alone. Here is where things stand right now.

Both the Democrats and Republicans agree that another stimulus check is necessary, they can’t agree on whether or not everyone deserves one.

The Democrats want another $1,200 check sent out for individuals, and $2,400 for joint filers, similar to the ones that made the rounds in April. BUT, the Republican’s want to limit who would qualify, and think that only those who make less than $40,000 a year should get a second check. BUT, the Democrats think that is way too low of a cap, so they are suggesting a stimulus for anyone who makes $75,000 or less a year.

So, in short, it’s still up in the air. It will be discussed further when they return to session next week. Let’s hope that we will all benefit from another stimulus package.
