Today is the CMA Summer Stay-Cay and hosts Jimmie Allen and Lindsay Ell talk about their jobs as hosts.

The live-stream event will air via CMA’s YouTube channel and Facebook page at 5 PM central time (6 PM eastern time), and will include unique performances, Q&As, games and more.

Jimmie apparently thinks you should expect the unexpected in some form.

“I’m hosting the CMA Summer Stay-Cay with my friend Miss Lindsay Ell. It’s gonna be fun. I have no idea what you can expect because I have no idea what I’m going to expect. But I know it’s gonna be fun. She’s a friend of mine and every time were around each other it’s always a good time. She always brings everything she’s got, so it’s gonna be fun, for sure.”

Lindsay says expect a lot of fun from the hosts and summer from her personal performance.

“Fans can expect a lot of laughs, a lot of games. Jimmie and I always make fun of each other. We’re label mates, we’re good friends, so it’s gonna be a lot of fun, let me just say. My CMA Stay-Cay performance is full of summer-y things, beautiful girls, some of my best friends in town. I’m so excited for you to see it. You’re definitely gonna feel like the summer has started.”

The CMA Summer Stay-Cay live-stream event will air via CMA’s YouTube and Facebook channels at 5 PM central time (6 PM eastern time), and will feature performances from more than 50 stars.
