Last night (5/11) the Top 9 on season 18 of The Voice performed in the Semi-Finals with the hope of making the Finals next week.

We were told last night that next week’s Finals would be slightly different from the past on The Voice. The person that gets the most votes on each team will advance to next week’s show with a chance to win the show. That means every coach will be represented in the Finals. However, this season there will be FIVE finalists instead of four.

Once the four artists with the most votes are revealed tonight (5/12), the remaining five artists will perform to complete for the “Wild Card Instant Save.” The artist that wins this “Wild Card Instant Save” will become the fifth finalist in next week’s show in the competition.

Last night’s show featured performances by some big name music stars. Country music star Kane Brown performed as did pop star Doja Cat and musical legend James Taylor with his son from their home. You can watch Kane’s performance below.

Blake Shelton‘s remaining three artists each did a great job performing remotely from their hometowns. Below are the Team Blake performances.

You can watch the other performances at The Voice YouTube channel here.

We will find out which four artists get the most votes tonight and which artist wins the “Wild Card Instant Vote” on The Voice Season 18 tonight starting at 7 PM central time (8 PM eastern time) on NBC.
