Some country music stars share their thoughts about the moms in their lives as Mother’s Day approaches.

Brett Young and his wife Taylor welcomed their first child to world last October. As they prepare to celebrate their first Mother’s Day with their daughter Presley, Brett says he is in complete awe of the mom Taylor has become.

“The way that motherhood has come naturally to Taylor, I think it’s easy to hear people say, ‘She was quote, unquote, born to be a mom,’ until you see it firsthand. And I think if there was any way to love her anymore, it was watching her become a mom and be so natural with it.”

As the mother of three, Lady Antebellum‘s Hillary Scott gives credit to her own mother for helping her become the person she is herself.

“I watched her my whole life have such a heart for people. And I think that that’s part of who she was created to be. I think that’s part of who I was created to be. But I also got to have this beautiful example of that lived out by her. And so, I would say, a big wide open heart for people.”

Midland‘s front man Mark Wystrach and wife Ty welcomed their first child last December. Mark says it’s been amazing to see his wife, Ty, become a mother.

“We just had a kid and it’s amazing to see that transformation, and all that maternal instinct kind of pours out, and you watch, you know, the woman that you love – it’s really cool – she demonstrates so much love into the kid and so much care. It’s just kind of natural, selfless and it’s just really fun to watch.”

Country music newcomer Caylee Hammack shares what kind of role model her mother has been in her life.

“I love that my mom is a no-nonsense woman. I love that she always speaks her mind and she’s super stubborn, because she handed it down to me and it’s come in handy, to be honest. And she always gives all of her heart, and I think that’s just one of the most beautiful traits in the world is to love fully.”
