Last night (5/5) was the first Live Results Show for season 18 of The Voice.

Monday night (5/4) the Top 17 performed for America’s vote. Last night the artist on each team with the most votes was saved by America. Each coach then got to pick one of the remaining artists on their team to save.

The artist that remained that received the most votes on each team then had a chance to sing for the “Wild Card Instant Save.”

Todd Tilghman was revealed as the artist on Team Blake that America saved with the most votes. Blake Shelton then decided to save Toneisha Harris.

Joanna Serenko had the most votes of the remaining two artists on Team Blake putting her in the running for the “Wild Card Instant Save.” That meant Joei Fulco was eliminated.

Joining Joanna in the competition for the chance to be the ninth artist to remain on the show were Cedrice (Team Kelly), Michael Williams (Team Nick) and Mandi Castillo (Team Legend).

When the results of the five-minute voting window was revealed it was Joanna Serenko of Team Blake getting the “Wild Card Instant Save.”

Blake moves forward with three artists while each of the other teams fall to two artists each. See who all remains on each team at the official website of The Voice here.

The Top 9 will perform on the next Live Remote show of season 18 of The Voice Monday night, May 11th starting at 7 PM central time (8 PM eastern time) on NBC.
