Country music and reality TV competition star Blake Shelton is NOT watching a lot of TV while quarantined.

In a recent interview, the singer-songwriter-TV personality he and his girlfriend Gwen Stefani aren’t binge-watching anything on TV while sheltering in place.

“In the mornings, we’ll turn it on for maybe 30 minutes just to kinda get the lay of the land of that day — the news — and then turn it off. And, you know, the kids are home schooling, so that’s going. We’ve got five kids in there home schooling, between Gwen’s kids and her brother’s kids”

Blake is using this situation to teach the kids around his home responsibility in this current situation as well.

“Kingston, Gwen’s oldest son, came to me yesterday and he said, ‘Blake, can I have ducks?’ I said, ‘ Yeah, if you’ll … I’m not building you a duck pen, that’s up to you.’ And I looked out there and he had a post hole drivers. He was building a pen for ducks.”

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani seem to be collaborating well in both life and on the charts. The couple’s duet “Nobody But You” is at number one this week on the Billboard Country Airplay singles chart. Listen for the song on Bloomington-Normal’s #1 Country, B104.

Season 18 of The Voice is supposed to go to live shows this Monday, May 4th with Blake Shelton as coach. How will the show achieve this week’s episode and all the live episodes moving forward? We will have to find out Monday.
