When Justin Moore was choosing which song to release off his Late Nights and Longnecks album, as the follow-up to his #1 hit, “The Ones That Didn’t Make It Back Home,” he says it was a pretty easy choice. That was because the fans were letting him know every night during his live shows, which song they loved.

“It’s funny because ‘Why We Drink’ is one of those songs that, when we first started playing it, before it was on the radio, people were singin’ along by the second chorus,” says Justin. “That doesn’t always happen, but it just kind of has that factor to it. And that’s always a good indicator that a song has a chance to be a hit record, when you have that kinda go on.”

Justin says seeing that kind of reaction to a song that hadn’t been released, “I’m like, ‘Okay, this may have to be the next single.’ So, it’s fun, people singin’ along, they’re raisin’ drinks up, the whole bit.”

For now Justin will have to raise a drink with his fans online. However, like every artist, he is dying to get back out on the road so he can get back to doing what he loves most, and celebrating “Why We Drink” with his fans.
