We need to remain diligent in doing our part to slow the spread of this virus and eventually stop it altogether. There are five simple rules to follow to help keep you and your family safe during this crisis.

  1. Wash your hands often with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds.
  2. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands.
  3. Cover your mouth when you sneeze or cough. If you do this into your hands, immediately wash them or use hand sanitizer on them.
  4. Social distance: stay at least three to six feet away from everybody else. Completely avoid close contact with people who are sick. Only go into public when you absolutely need or have to.
  5. If you feel sick, STAY HOME.

Remember, you can get reliable information at the McLean County Health Department website, the IDPH website and/or the Center for Disease Control (CDC) website.
