NASCAR driver Ryan Newman appeared in his first interview today (3/11) since surviving a terrifying, fiery crash in the Daytona 500.
Ryan was on the Today Show where the hosts asked him about the incident. He discussed the accident, the people involved in saving him, how his daughters are dealing with the situation and much more.
He is perfectly fine overall. However, due to the concussive injury to his brain he has not returned to racing yet. He does 100% plan on getting back in his race car. He just doesn’t have a time frame for that to happen.
