The Blind Auditions moved into week two on season 18 of The Voice last night (3/2).

22-year-old Joei Fulco took the stage solo after spending her life singing with her family. She chose to perform Cher’s “Gypsys, Tramps & Thieves” and got Blake Shelton to push his button and “Block” Nick Jonas at the same time. Nick did press his button only to find out he was not going to get a chance to bring Joei to his team.

Joei became the fifth member of Team Blake to start season 18 of The Voice.

When 26-year-old Jamal Corrie performed on The Voice stage it was the first time he performed anywhere other than busking on the street. His version of “Be Alright” by Dean Lewis was enough to get Blake to press his button.

For a second time during the episode Blake did not have to fight to bring an artist to Team Blake as Jamal became his sixth team member.

Since today (3/3) is “Super Tuesday” there will not be an episode of The Voice tonight.

Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and rookie coach Nick Jonas all ended the episode with five artists a piece on their teams. Find who are on those teams at the official website of The Voice here.

By the way, I’m sure I heard Kelly say during last night’s episode that this season the coaches will be starting with just ten artists on their teams. In the past the teams were 12 members each after the Blind Auditions.

The Blind auditions continue Monday, March 9th at 7 PM central time (8 PM eastern time) on NBC.
