Have you been taking preparations for the Coronavirus? After what the CDC just announced…you should!

The CDC just sounded the alarm on an inevitable outbreak in the US, declaring it “not a question of if, but rather a question of when.”

With global death tolls over 2,700, and cases in South Korea, Iran, and Italy, along with China, heath officials say it is more likely the virus will spread into the US at some point.

The agency is urging hospitals and schools to begin preparations now, and encouraging cities to look into rescheduling large gatherings.

If you are taking a trip, travelers need to make sure to take precautions to keep the disease from spreading. Including, washing your hands with warm water for at least 20 seconds, include hand sanitizer into your daily routine.

Make sure to wipe down commonly touched surfaces like door handles, counters, kiosks, hand rails, screens, seat belts, armrests and try not to touch your face or your mouth if you don’t have to.

Do you think it’s too early to be alarmed about coronavirus, or have the recent outbreaks and announcement from the CDC got you spooked?
