Pitbull released a song titled “Get Ready” last year that featured Blake Shelton. Now the two have worked together for a music video for the song.
Rap/Hip-Hop star Pitbull sampled the song “Black Betty” by Ram Jam to create his song “Get Ready.” He then enlisted the talents of country music super star Blake Shelton to sing on the track.
Today (2/10) the official music video for “Get Ready” was released. The video starts with the two music super stars sitting on a front porch in Tennessee talking. It quickly moves to a country style party in what looks like a barn. Next the party transitions to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Pitbull’s home of Miami, Florida. The video bounces back and forth from the night life of Miami to the country party life of Tennessee.
