Last night (12/17) was the season finale of The Voice Season 17. All four coaches were represented with a single artist that could win.

Blake Shelton had Ricky Duran for Team Blake. John Legend had Katie Kadan for Team Legend. Gwen Stefani had Rose Short for Team Gwen. Kelly Clarkson had Jake Hoot for Team Kelly.

Before the results of America’s vote were revealed there were plenty of special performances. Among those performances were some big names in country music.

Lady Antebellum performed their current single “What If I Never Get Over You.”

Little Big Town was joined by Jake Hoot for a performance of their song “Over Drinking.”

Luke Combs performed his latest #1 single “Even Though I’m Leaving.”

Finally it was time to reveal the results and find out the winner of The Voice. It was revealed that Rose Short (Team Gwen) finished in fourth place and Katie Kadan (Team Legend) was in third place for the season.

It was then time to reveal the winner of season 17 of The Voice.

Jake Hoot is the winner of The Voice Season 17 giving Kelly Clarkson her third win in four seasons as a coach.

Ricky Duran finishes in second place for Team Blake. This marks the third consecutive season Blake has been the coach of the runner up on the show. Blake remains the coach with the most wins with a total of six, although he has not won since season 13. He has been the runner up coach ten times. Blake has been able to get at least one artist in the finals in all but one season (season five).
