Week 9 of Dancing with the Stars Season 28 took place last night (11/11) and Lauren Alaina was in the bottom two. Was she eliminated?

It was “Boy Bands and Girl Groups Week” on the reality show-dancing competition. The remaining six couples did two dances during the live episode.

Lauren and her professional dancing partner Gleb Savchenko danced the Quickstep to “You Can’t Hurry Love” by The Supremes for their first dance. The judges gave them a combined score of 34 points out of 40 possible.

Lauren and Gleb used  “I Want It That Way” by Backstreet Boys to dance the Rumba for their second dance of the night. They scored a combined 36 points for this dance. Their combined two-dance total was 70 out of 80 possible. That was one point lower than the third lowest couple’s combined two-dance total.

Sean Spicer and professional dancing partner Jenna Johnson had the lowest combined two-dance total, 50 points out of 80 possible.

Lauren avoided elimination thanks to the votes of judges Carrie Ann and Bruno.

Each week is going to get tougher on the remaining five couples. If Lauren is going to win the trophy this season, she will likely need all of her fans and more to get in on the voting.
