It may be safe to say that Tim McGraw is in the best shape of his life, and looks better than EVER, but there was a time when his life seemed out of control and it was his wife and kids who told him he needed to change his life for good!
Tim has sold millions of albums, had roles in some incredible movies, and from the outside looking in, he seemed to have the perfect life, especially with an incredible wife like Faith Hill, and his beautiful daughters. But, that was on the outside, because on the inside he was dealing with some things internally which drove him to overeating, drinking excessively, and an overall unhealthy way of life.
That’s when his wife Faith stepped in and gave him an ultimatum…
In his new book, Grit & Grace, he admits that Faith laid down the law and told him he had to pick, family or partying. He decided to choose family. Once his mental health was in a better place, his daughter Gracie gave him his next “ah-ha” moment. They went to see a movie and a trailer for his film Four Christmases played, Gracie (who was 11 at the time) said, “Jeez Dad, you need to do something.” And that was his second moment where he new he had to whip himself into shape.
