During her show in Wichita this weekend, Miranda Lambert saw a sweet face in the crowd and asked the 8 year old girl to join her on stage.
Her name is Remi. At only 8 years old, she got a little overwhelmed being on stage in front of all of those people, but knew it was a moment to cherish for life. She started to get teary and Miranda took her hand and asked if she wanted to sing “All Kinds of Kinds” with her. During the performance, Miranda got choked up an her background singers had to take over the vocals for her as she realized what a special moment it was.
Weekend 6. IL, MO, KS. Thanks for the magic. Speaking of magic, this girl Remi stole my ❤️. Sometimes there is a face in the crowd that captivates you. Thanks for the tears, smiles & for being who you are. You inspired us all. I’ll never forget you. #roadsidebarsandpinkguitars pic.twitter.com/FbefUvE2Yo

Remi’s mother also shared some photos on Twitter and thanked Miranda for “boosting Remi’s confidence” as she was born with nerve damage on her face which causes her to have a crooked smile.
Thank you all for boosting Remi’s confidence tonight. She was born with nerve damage on the side of her face which makes her have a crooked smile. Thank you for showing her it’s beautiful to be different. @mirandalambert @GwenSebastian @PistolAnnies @ElleKingMusic @AshleyMcBryde pic.twitter.com/eE1XgQKRuC
