Luke Combs and his fiancée Nicole Hocking are both planning their wedding and he says he wouldn’t have it any other way.

Thanks to the success Luke is enjoying Nicole is spending a lot of time with Luke now.

“My fiancée quit working full-time probably ten months ago, so she’s been out on the road with me and at home with me ever since, which has been awesome. So, we really have spent a lot of time on the bus, you know, figuring out where we wanna go, who we wanna invite,” Luke states.

It is important to the country music singer-songwriter to not just leave it all to Nicole to figure out.

“I mean, I’ve always wanted to be involved in that process because I want to show her that I care about it,” he confesses.

What is the deeper motivation for him to help plan this important life event?

Luke shares, “If I can’t put a valiant effort into planning the most important day of our lives to this point then what does that say about me when something really difficult comes up … because this is something, to me, that’s fun.”

Who is lucky enough to make the invitation list?

“All of our best friends are going to be there our family is going to be there,” Luke says.

The award winning country music singer is having fun with event he smallest of details.

“Like, I’ve never been excited to pick out napkins before, but I’m kind of excited to pick out napkins, if I’m being honest with you,” Luke says with a laugh.

No date has been revealed for the nuptials yet. However, you can bet it will be a day both Luke and Nicole remember for a lifetime. I would bet some songs will be written for and from it.

Luke is up for three awards at the upcoming 53rd CMA Awards Show; Male Vocalist of the Year, Song of the Year for “Beautiful Crazy” (can you guess who this song was likely written about) and Musical Event of the Year for his collaboration with Brooks & Dunn on “Brand New Man.” We will find if he wins any or all of them Wednesday, November 13th on ABC.
