You know you are on to something when 15 States say ‘No’ to selling your beer. Why has this year’s version of Sam Adams Utopias been barred from 15 states? Maybe because it’s 28 percent ABV! For context, the average beer is around 10 percent ABV.
Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Idaho, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, Utah, Vermont, and West Virginia are the states where you cannot find the beer.
It’s a beer unlike any other—and it’s illegal in 15 states. https://t.co/mbM3BEAjd4

The specialty beer will not be cheap ($210 per bottle) but how often can you say that you had (survived?) a beer that’s 28 percent ABV??? You can read more about it on the company’s website.
