Carrie Underwood is a songwriter, singer, wife, mother and entrepreneur. When it comes to getting it all done many ask “How does she do it?” Her husband Mike Fisher thinks it is because of Him.
No not him, Mike … Him with a capital “H,” God.
Mike posted a video (at the bottom of the page) of his wife hitting one of her signature mega-notes during one of her headlining “Cry Pretty 360 Tour” concert stops this past weekend. His message with the video addressed the question, “How does she do it?”
The post first poses that very question and then details a typical day for the country music superstar…
“If I had a dollar every time someone on tour said “I don’t know how she does it” I’d be rich:) I wish everyone could see how she does it! She still gets up a couple times a night with Jacob. Wakes up and makes sure everyone is fed, then works out for 90 minutes (a workout much harder then mine) Then gets ready for the show with soundcheck etc, then meets dozen of fans,then meets radio people and then goes out and sings her heart out for 2 hours, then gets on the bus and on to the next city for a repeat. It really is amazing how she does it all.”
The retired professional hockey player then presents what he believes is how his wife is able to do it all day in and day out…
“Hard work is more important then talent in everything and she has loads of both but the short answer of how she does it is that God’s given her a crazy voice and determination (and energy) to be able to do what He’s called her to do! I love watching her do her thing and showing people the gift that God’s given her. He’s the only explanation to the question “I don’t know how she does it”
To support his belief, Mike adds some scripture…
“Philippians 4:13 For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.
Ephesians 3:20 Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.”
Bottom line is this … it doesn’t matter what your personal beliefs are when it comes to religion. You cannot deny that Carrie Underwood is one amazing person! Additionally, because of posts like this one and many more, Mike Fisher obviously loves his wife very much!!
Carrie will be one of this year’s CMT Artists of the Year honorees tomorrow, Wednesday, October 16th.
She will also host the 53rd CMA Awards Show with special guest co-hosts Reba McEntrie and Dolly Parton on November 13th.
How does she do it? Oh, yeah … Mike already told us. By the way, as far as your theory Mike … I say, “Amen!”
