Last night (3/27) Blake Shelton had the final two eliminations for Team Blake in the Battle Rounds on The Voice Season 12 and used his last “Steal.”

The first battle for Blake was between his two soul singers Josh Hoyer and TSoul. The two hopefuls were giving the classic soul song “In The Midnight Hour” by Wilson Picket (and covered by many artists over the years). Both Josh and TSoul did a masterful job performing the song which created a truly excellent collaboration for the show. Blake had a tough choice to make and said he would have to make it “based on his gut.” His gut apparently told him to keep TSoul on his team moving forward.

On the show last night the final Team Blake Battle Round result was revealed via one of those montage videos that I am not a fan of. However, this time the show has posted the actual battle performance on their YouTube channel and therefore I have it for you below.

Enid Ortiz and Valerie Ponzio were given the song “Love Triangle” by former Team Blake member RaeLynn. Both artists did a great job performing the song as you can watch below.

In the video montage we found out that Blake chose to keep Enid Ortize on Team Blake for the next round of competition.

Gwen Stefani paired Caroline Sky with Stephanie Rice and gave them the Cat Stevens classic hit “The First Cut Is The Deepest” which was also a hit for Sheryl Crow when she covered the song. The two ladies really sang to a draw in my opinion during the Battle Rounds performance. However, Gwen had to make a choice and kept Stephanie on her team moving forward. That left Caroline available to “Steal” and Blake Shelton used his final one of the round to bring Caroline to Team Blake.

You can see how all of the teams stand at the official NBC The Voice website here.

Tonight the Battle Rounds wrap up as Adam Levine has the only “Steal” left to use in this round. All of Blake’s battles have been completed, but Gwen, Adam and Alicia Keys all have one battle that remains to take place on the show tonight to complete this round of competition on season 12 of The Voice. It will all take place starting at 7:00 PM central time (8:00 PM eastern time) on NBC.
