Jason Aldean will receive an award from the Academy of Country Music (ACM) that only six other artists have ever been honored with, the ACM Triple Crown Award.

This special award honors artists who have won the ACM awards for New Male/Female/Duo/Group of the Year, Male/Female/Duo/Group of the Year and the prestigious Entertainer of the Year. Jason became eligible for the Triple Crown Award honor when he was named Entertainer of the Year at last April’s ACM Awards.

Jason now joins the elite group of ACM Triple Crown Award honorees that includes Carrie Underwood, Brooks & Dunn, Kenny Chesney, Mickey Gilley, Merle Haggard, and Barbara Mandrell.

Jason will receive his special award at the 10th Annual ACM Honors ceremony that will be held at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium on August 30th. Jason will not only be honored that night, but he is also included on the list of performers for the two-hour event along with Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Cam, Maren Morris, Cole Swindell, Keith Urban and Lady Antebellum.

ACM Honors is an evening celebrating special honorees and off-camera category winners from the 51st Academy of Country Music Awards. Joining Jason as honorees for the night are Carrie Underwood, Little Big Town, Keith Urban and Glen Campbell.

Lady Antebellum will host the evening that will make its television debut on September 9th at 8:00 PM central time (9:00 PM eastern time) on CBS.

Congratulations to Jason Aldean on winning the ACM Triple Crown Award and to all of the artists who will be honored at the ACM Honors.
