Jake Owen is the latest country artist to get into the booze business and he is helping promote the new adult beverage with a 360-degree music video!
In this brand new music video for “American Country Love Song” Jake takes the viewer to the beach via virtual reality. The song is the debut single from the forthcoming new album American Love that is scheduled to drop July 29th. The single is currently in the top 15 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart and climbing.
In the video, Jake is on the beach with the view having the capability of looking in all directions by using the direction buttons on the screen as though they are actually standing on the beach with him.
The website Mashable quotes Jake as saying, “I’m a kind of carefree guy … that’s my persona. I grew up in Florida on the beach my whole life, and I’ve always wanted to be the guy who brings happiness to people and makes people smile.”
Throughout the music video you will see the name Beach Whiskey, which is Jake’s new signature brand of whiskey. The whiskey’s website states, “Our Mission is to Bring the Beach Life to: Your Place In The S*U*N.” The website also shows that Beach Whiskey comes in two flavors, Island Coconut and Bonfire Cinnamon.
Andrew McGinnis, co-founder of Beach Whiskey says, “Traditionally whiskey’s been these dark liquors that’s about being in a cabin or by the fireplace, but we’ve decided to make whiskey something you can enjoy on the beach, a more fun experience.”
