Carrie Underwood and a collaboration from Cassadee Pope, Pitbull and Leona Lewis have been added to this week’s CMT Music Awards show.
Carrie Underwood will perform her latest single “Church Bells” on the live awards show. Carrie joins the previously announced performers for the show Chris Stapleton, Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan and Thomas Rhett.
Pop-Dance music star Pitbull will take the CMT Music Awards show stage for the first time ever along with nominee Leona Lewis and CMT Music Award-winner Cassadee Pope for a collaborative performance. This year’s show will also feature collaborations from Dierks Bentley with Elle King, Billy Ray Cyrus with Cheap Trick, Fifth Harmony with Cam, Blake Shelton with the Oak Ridge Boys and Keith Urban with Brett Eldredge and Maren Morris.
Additional performers that will take the Firestone stage on the show include Brothers Osborne, LoCash, Maren Morris and Michael Ray.
The 2016 CMT Music Awards Show will be hosted by Erin Andrews and J.J. Watt and will be broadcast live on CMT from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena Wednesday, June 8th at 7 PM central time (8pm eastern/pacific time).
