Keith Urban‘s new album RipCORD made a #1 debut on the Country Album Sales chart with Cole Swindell‘s new album You Should Be Here right behind at #2.

Keith’s new album not only debuted at #1 on the country sales chat in America, it also achieved the same mark in Canada and Australia. This is the second consecutive time that Keith has attained that milestone, making him the only male country artist to achieve that accomplishment.

RipCORD sold more than 92,000 copies which was enough to give Keith a debut on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart as well. Keith is proud of his latest album and excited that the fans are reacting so well to it, “Working with some of the most creative, and inspiring musicians to explore and expand my music in the studio was exhilarating,” Keith shares, adding, “To now see this music connecting with my audience in this way is an extraordinary feeling – it means everything to me.”

Cole Swindell’s sophomore album sold more than 65,000 copies in its first week of release placing it at #2 in country sales behind Keith. The sales total also allowed Cole to debut in the top 10 on the all-genre chart. You Should Be Here came in at #6 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Congratulations to Keith Urban and Cole Swindell on big debuts in sales for the new albums.
