Last night the Bloomington Thunder were in Cedar Rapids taking on the Roughriders in the deciding game of their series. Most people thought that the Thunder would be beat by what some called a more superior team. The Thunder didn’t believe it and Brogan Rafferty proved it with a shot that bounced off an opposing player went in to give them a one goal lead. They added a couple empty net goals to seal the deal and our Thunder hockey team is moving on to the Eastern conference finals.
This is amazing for a second year franchise in the USHL and the type of players we’ve been fortunate to have on our team. I wish them all the best and they deserve for hockey fans to fill up the U.S Cellular Coliseum on Friday, May 6th and Saturday May 7th versus Dubuque. Get out and root them on to the Clark Cup.
