The mega-hit song “Cruise” by Florida Georgia Line has again made history as it has received Diamond Certification.

Tyler Hubbard (above on left) and Brian Kelley (above on right) had a more than worthwhile trip to Las Vegas for the 51st Annual ACM Awards show this past weekend. The duo claimed their third consecutive ACM Vocal Duo of the Year Award. However, that was not the only trophy they took home from Las Vegas.

Florida Georgia Line hosted a party at Skyfall Lounge at the Delano in Vegas to acknowledge the support they have received from the country music industry and congratulate their collaborators for many milestone achievements through their career. While at the party they received yet another reason to celebrate.

RIAA EVP of Communications and Marketing Jonathan Lamy presented the duo with Diamond certification awards for their debut single, “Cruise.” The certification signifies that the 2012 debut single from Florida Georgia Line has surpassed the 10 million mark for sales. “Cruise” is the first-ever country single to earn a Diamond certification from the RIAA.

Brian said, “We are blown away and couldn’t be more honored by these milestone moments. Our fans keep us doing what we do and made this possible!”

Tyler added graciously, “We have the best fans in the world, by far!”

“Cruise” also holds the record for longest #1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart.

The duo just announced a partnership with Budweiser for their 2016 “Dig Your Roots Tour.” They will also be releasing their third studio album later this year.

Congratulations to Florida Georgia Line for having “Cruise” become the first-ever country single to earn Diamond certification from the RIAA.
