Carrie Underwood announced plans today for her 2016 “The Storyteller Tour” along with the dates and locations of the concerts.
Last Friday (10/23) Carrie released her fifth studio album titled Storyteller. That makes sense that she would name her upcoming 2016 tour after the album. Carrie will be bringing special guests Easton Corbin and The Swon Brothers with her on the 2016 tour. The tour’s complete name is “The Storyteller Tour – Stories in the Round.”
The last part of the tour name points to something new for Carrie’s tour, it will be in the round. That means that the stage will be set in the middle of the arena floor providing 360-degrees of seating and allowing fans on all sides of the arena to get a very intimate and unique concert experience.
“I can’t wait to play new music from Storyteller for the fans,” Carrie shares on her website. “I am so blessed to have this career and get to do to the things I do, but there is nothing like that moment when I get to step onto the stage to sing and all the fans are singing along with me.”
Right now the closest the tour comes to us in central Illinois is March 24th in St. Louis, MO and May 17th in Rosemont, IL.
