Thomas Rhett takes us on “Vacation” in New Music Video

Thomas Rhett takes us along on his vacation in his new music video from his forthcoming new album Tangled Up.

The sophomore album from the Georgia native is set for a September 25th release. The debut single from the album “Crash And Burn” has reached the #3 spot on the Billboard Country Airplay chart for this week.

Thomas Rhett has decided to premiere a new music video for a song from the album each Friday leading up to the release date. Last Friday (8/28) was the first new music video premiere from Tangled Up.

The song is called “Vacation” and that is how the singer-songwriter portrays the song, on his own vacation in Hawaii.

Thomas and his wife Lauren took a personal vacation last month with some friends in the “Aloha State.” The group filmed parts of the vacation that were used in the music video.

In the music video for “Vacation” by Thomas Rhett which you can watch above we see them doing many fun, summer-based activities including cliff diving, sky diving, boogie-boarding and more.

Thomas says the reason he decided to use “Vacation” for the first music video premiere and footage of his own personal vacation for the music video was because, “I wanted to start with a track that just feels good and is fun, so here we go with ‘Vacation.’ Clearly, with lyrics like ‘Billabong bikini’ and ‘solo cup amplifier,’ the song is about having a good time, whether you actually are on vacation – like we are in the video – or just kicking back in a kiddie pool in your backyard.”

By the way, if you pre-order Tangled Up by Thomas Rhett, you will receive an instant iTunes download of the new songs as the music video is released each week.

Thomas has spent his summer (when not vacationing in Hawaii) on tour with Florida Georgia Line on their “Anything Goes Tour.”

This fall he will co-headline the “CMT On Tour: Brett Eldredge & Thomas Rhett – Boots & Suits” which kicks off in October.
