The Top 6 on season eight of “The Voice” performed last night (5/4/15) in hopes of making the semi-finals. Based on the iTunes sales, will Blake Shelton and Meghan Linsey advance this week?

Each of the artists sang two songs last night, one of which was dedicated to either their mom or the mom of their children for the upcoming Mother’s Day Sunday. They hope to gain enough votes to automatically advance to the Top 5 and be in the semi-finals next week on “The Voice.”

Blake’s final artist on Team Blake is Meghan Linsey and she performed “Steamroller Blues” and her dedication to her mom was “Amazing Grace.” You can watch her two performances in the videos at the bottom of the page.

How do all of the artists stack-up on the iTunes sales chart? Here are the rankings at about 9AM central time:

With two more hours left to go before voting closes, this could change some. However, I believe it will remain pretty close to what you see now. As I always do, I will remind you that there are other methods of voting that the iTunes sales do not reflect that can change the overall results (as happened last week).

However, based on the iTunes sales/voting it looks as though that Team Xtina will be in the bottom two with both India and Kimberly. If that does ultimately turn out to be accurate, each coach will have a single artist in the semi-finals with the exception of Pharrell Williams who will have two.

We will have to wait until the live results show tonight on NBC to find out what in fact happens. Tonight will also be a reunion show on “The Voice” as some of the past contestants from the show return to perform including last season’s winner from Team Blake Craig Wayne Boyd.
