Kristian Bush is set to release his debut solo album entitled Southern Gravity April 7th.

Kristian is best known as being half of the Grammy Award-winning duo Sugarland with Jennifer Nettles. Both artists are currently working on solo projects, although they say that Sugarland has not ended as a duo.

Kristian’s debut solo single “Trailer Hitch” is currently climbing the country singles charts at #22 on both the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase/Country Aircheck singles charts. The singer-songwriter-musician says the reason he decided to do a solo album is because: “it is what I do all the time. I wake up, write a song, record it, and produce it.”

Music Row reports that Kristian co-wrote all 12 songs (listed below) on his debut solo album. Talking about the album he said: “The songs on Southern Gravity feel like home to me, and I am proud and excited to share them, finally. They are your stories as much as they are mine, and I hope you hear yourself in here, no matter if you are standing up, falling down, or dancing in between the pieces of your life.”

Personally, I look forward to hearing the album Southern Gravity by Kristian Bush when it is released April 7th.
