For the first time, the Illinois State Redbirds Football program is headed to the FCS Championship Game. It was a long wait to get to Frisco, Texas since the guys have had 2 weeks off, but they have arrived safe and sound at the team hotel and are ready to go with a warm welcome from fans and press last night. The Redbirds face North Dakota State in the Championship on Saturday at Toyota Stadium.
