The Illinois State Redbirds football team for the first time since 1999 is in the Semi – finals. This has been a real fun year and I get the feeling it could end up being a remarkable one. The Redbirds head to Durham, New Hampshire to face the New Hampshire Wildcats on Saturday at 1pm.
Eastern Washington wouldn’t go down easy as they seemed to score when it appeared Illinois State had the game in hand. It ended with a combined 105 points scored. I’m sure the Wildcats will be one tough customer as most playoff games usually end up being.
Join Illinois State head football coach Brock Spack Thursday morning at 7:50am with Justice & Faith on B104. I’m sure he’ll have something superstitious he’s done all year to share with us. Our sister station WJBC will have all the coverage of the game against New Hampshire at 1pm Saturday afternoon. ESPNU will also have the TV coverage.
