Last night (12/10) the final four on 'The Voice' performed to gain the votes to make the finals. Will Blake Shelton have both of the final two this year?
With the hit NBC singing comeptition changing things for season three, no coach was gurenteed to have artists make it through each round once America started voting. As a result, the semifinals pitted Team Blake against Team CeeLo Monday night (12/10) to battle to make next week's finals. Blake had Cassadee Pope and Terry McDermott singing against CeeLo's Trevin Hunte and Nicholas David.
This morning Blake checked the iTunes charts and Tweeted the picture above which showed Cassadee at number one and Terry at number two. Nicholas David also made the top ten on iTunes. He was at number four when Blake took the picture. Each iTunes download counts as a vote for the artists on 'The Voice' in addition to the online voting and text voting methoods. Also, any artist that makes the top ten on iTunes this season on 'The Voice' has their iTunes votes multiplied by 10.
At the writting of this story, Cassadee and Terry were still number one and two on iTunes. Will Blake have the only two artists left after tonight's live elimination show on 'The Voice' ensuring that he will be the winning coach for two seasons in a row? The iTunes "votes" alone can't guarentee that since there are other ways of voting as well. However, it is a positive indicator that an all Team Blake final two could happen.
We will find out which two artists will sing to win season three of 'The Voice' on tonight's live elimination show starting at 7 p.m. central time on NBC TV.
