Once again in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, Phil the groundhog made his prediction about the arrival of spring for 2013.

Punxsutawney Phil has been making his prediction for spring since 1886 on Groundhog's Day, February 2nd. According to the Washington Post, phil has seen his shadow 100 times and has not seen it only 16 times in that time frame. As the folklore goes, if Phil sees his shadow there will be six more weeks of winter; no shadow indicates spring will come early.

Well, if the groundhog is accurate, it will be an early spring this year since Phil did NOT see his shadow today.
