Country Weekly reports that Carrie she wasn’t sure her life measured up to the troubled life that is typically revealed on the VH1 ‘Behind The Music’ series of shows. Carrie said: “Well, at first when I heard that they wanted to do one on me I was like, 'Are they sure?’” The ‘American Idol’ winner explained: “I've honestly had a really, relatively charmed life, and I have a wonderful family. I don't feel like there's been a ton of things in my life that I've really had to overcome and stuff like that.”
The show’s producers were sure they wanted to feature the country music superstar. They were quite thorough in their work to create the episode. Carrie, her mom, childhood friends and producers were all interviewed for the VH1 feature.
Carrie revealed that she is interested in seeing the finished product for herself. “I probably don't even know all the people that they ended up talking to. So, it'll be fun for me to sit down and watch it, too,” Carrie said laughing, adding, “I might learn some stuff about myself.”
The VH1 website describes the episode as: "Behind The Music: Carrie Underwood" explores the country music superstar's meteoric rise to fame after winning American Idol, her subsequent success and her search for love.
Vh1’s ‘Behind The Music: Carrie Underwood’ debuts this Sunday night, September 30th at 8 p.m. central time.
