It must be my lucky week because I've had the chance to drive the Brand New 2014 ACURA RLX from Bob Lindsey Acura in Peoria. At first I thought, "Are you seriously gonna let ME drive this car?" Good thing I said that in my head and not out loud, or they might have changed their minds.

The ACURA RLX is truly one of the BEST luxury vehicles out there, and I was amazed at how smart the car is. I'm going to be honest, I'm a gadget girl so I was into this car from the minute I sat in the drivers seat. It's supersmart, with 2 screens on the dashboard, one for navigation and one for climate control, radio, Bluetooth and more. It has the smoothest ride ever, with tons of power. 310 Horsepower, direct injection V-6 engine, front wheel drive with pick up and speed. I felt like speed-racer, or a super hero driving around Bloomington-Normal.

One of my favorite features is the keyless access system! It makes everything so easy, no key for entry, just press the start button to start the engine (which is kind of a super hero thing to do.) It also has adaptive cruise control so if someone slows down in front of you, it will slow down because it always makes sure to maintain a certain distance between you and other vehicles AND Lane departure warning lets you know if someone is in your blind spot if you are trying to change lanes, and that also means that while the Acura RLX really is Luxury with a mind of it’s own, it’s also one of the safest cars out there.

Also, you know that commercial where the dad wants to park in the spot but cant get out of the car because the other person parked like an idiot and there isn't enough room? Well, he decides to park anyway because he knows his mirrors automatically roll in and he will be able to fit, and then he gets out the back of the car. Not that you would WANT to park like that, but you could with the ACURA RLX if you wanted to because the mirrors on both the driver and passenger side roll in like a spaceship when you lock the car. So awesome!
