Last night (11/20) Rascal Flatts performed on ‘The Voice’ live elimination show and both remaining members of Blake Shelton’s team were saved by America’s votes.

Not only did America vote to keep Cassadee Pope and Terry McDermott from Team Blake, they helped Cassadee achieve something that many active recording artists strive for. Monday (11/19) Cassadee performed the song ‘Over You’ that was written by her coach Blake and his wife Miranda Lambert.

The song seems to be special to America in many ways. It was the winner of the CMA award for Song Of The Year just a few weeks ago. It also helped Cassadee reach the #1 spot on the iTunes Chart overnight Monday and into Tuesday. In fact, I just checked as I am writing this and it is STILL the #1 song on iTunes today (Wednesday, 11/21).

So who went home last night on ‘The Voice?’ The two hopefuls that received the least amount of votes were Sylvia Yacoub from Team XTina and Bryan Keith from Team Adam. That leaves the elite eight to compete next week. Christina is down to just one artist left on her team, Dez Duron. Blake has two artists left to try and help Team Blake get back-to-back wins in season three, Cassadee and Terry. Team Adam is also down to two members left to compete with Melanie Martinez and Amanda Brown. Team CeeLo has the most artist still in the competition as three made it through last night; Trevin Hunte, Nicholas David and Cody Belew.

Rascal Flatts performed the title track from their latest album last night on ‘The Voice.’ Team Blake’s Cassadee Pope and Team CeeLo’s Cody Belew joined Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and JoeDon Rooney of Rascal Flatts to sing ‘Changed.’ You can watch the video of the performance below.

The final eight artists on ‘The Voice’ will perform Monday (11/26) on ‘The Voice’ starting at 7 p.m. central time on NBC and once again hope for your votes following the show.
