Randy Houser has topped the Billboard country singles charts for the first time as his song "How Country Feels" hits number one!
Randy has come close to the top of the charts before both as a singer and songwriter. He co-wrote the Trace Adkins hit "Honky Tonk Badonkakdonk" which reached #2 on the country singles charts. He also hit the runner-up spot with his own song "Boots On."
Randy's latest single, and title track from his third studio album, "How Country Feels" has made it over that "always a bride's maid" hurdle. The advance Billboard country singles are out and Randy taken over the number one spot from the Zac Brown Band's "Goodbye In Her Eyes" which has been at the top for the past three weeks.
The timing is perfect for the Lake, Mississippi native. Randy's new album "How Country Feels" will hit stores tomorrow, January 22nd. Having the number one song on the charts when the lead single is at the top of charts usually helps with album sales.
Congratulations to Randy Houser on "How Country Feels" being this week's number one country single!
