Miranda Lambert opened her Pink Pistol store on Black Friday. Apparently being a store owner is keeping her from hunting, but she's OK with that.
Miranda told Country Weekly that her new retail store, the Pink Pistol, in Tishomingo, Oklahoma is keeping her very busy, but she is completely into all the work. "It’s a blast! I’m having so much fun. I’ve been there every single day that I’ve been home. I’ve never worked so hard in my life. I need to go on tour so I don’t have to work so hard," she says.
The CMA Female Vocalist of the Year says she enjoys everything about being in her shop: "I have so much fun with it: talking with people, making sodas and sundaes, putting out merchandise and cleaning up boxes. Songwriting was my hobby before, now it’s a full-time job, and I figure everybody needs a hobby and a creative outlet, so I’ve found one."
Miranda is finding that spending all that time on her new endevor is taking time away from something she has always loved to do, hunting. "I went hog hunting once [this season] and got a hog with my bow. I haven’t had time. I’m in pink land now," Miranda said. Her husband, and fellow country star, Blake Shelton seems to be more bothered by the time that Miranda is spending at the Pink Pistol that she is. "Blake’s like, 'Really? You’re just going to be in pink glitter and no more hunting with me anymore?' I’m like, 'I’ll go a couple times."
I'm sure Blake can handle sitting in the hunting blind or tree stand solo this year. Besides, after things at the Pink Pistol get flowing smoothly, I'm sure Miranda will make more time for her hunting. As you can see from the picture from her Twitter account above, she found a way already to combine both her store and hunting.
Congratulations to Miranda Lambert on the success of her new store.
