An Illinois family trio from Atwood is making a name for themselves in Nashville. Watch this video and meet The Henningsens.

Brian Hennigsen and his family have made a life for themselves on their 1700-acre farm located just about 30 miles south of Champaign, Illinois in the farming community of Atwood. Brian and his wife have loved life on the farm growing corn, soybeans and children. The couple have TEN children together.

Brian's side-passion has always been music. He spent many years playing in local country and country/rock bands. He put that love of music aside to focus on the farm and his family. Now it is his family that has brought his musical dreams back to life.

Brian has been joined by his son Aaron and daughter Clara to form the trio known as The Hennigsens. The trio grabbed attention in Nashville at first for their song writting skills. The most notable songs penned by The Hennigsens were hit singles for The Band Perry. The Band Perry's hit song 'You Lie' was written by all three of the Henningsens and the two-week #1 hit 'All Your Life' was a product of father Brian and daughter Clara's writting ability.

Now The Henningsens are enjoying chart success for a song they both wrote and recorded for Arista Records. The trio's debut single 'American Beautiful' has hit the top 40 on both the Billboard and Mediabase/Country Aircheck country singles charts.
