Meet Florida Georgia Line And Watch Their Video For 'Cruise'

The new duo called Florida Georgia Line is turning heads and perking up ears across country music. Here’s an introduction to the guys and the video from their first single ‘Cruise.’

Monroe, Georgia’s Tyler Hubbard and Ormond Beach, Florida’s Brian Kelley attended Nashville’s Belmont University together. Seeing where the two are from make the origins of their duo’s name pretty obvious. The two of them wrote songs between classes and played the clubs in the Nashville area. As the duo of Florida Georgia Line they have built a fan base as they opened concerts for Blake Shelton, Jake Owen, Brantley Gilbert and more. They even landed a spot on the ‘Country Throwdown Tour’ with Gary Allan, Rodney Atkins, and Justin Moore.

The guys draw influence from country to hip-hop. All of their influences have one thing in common according to Brian: “All of our idols create great music that's real and that everyone can relate to. That's the same kind of music we want to make.”

The duo’s fan base began across the Southeast with their highly engaging stage show. That fan base is now spreading nationwide as their debut single ‘Cruise’ continues to climb the country singles charts. The two are thankful for their fans and the excitement and support they get from them as the numbers continue to grow at each concert. “It's such a blessing that we get to do this for a living,” says Tyler.

After hearing their debut single ‘Cruise,’ I for one can’t wait to hear their entire forthcoming EP.

You can hear ‘Cruise’ from Florida Georgia Line on B104 and watch the video for the song below.
