Luke Bryan has hit to top of the country singles charts for the 6th time in his career as ‘Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye’ rises to #1 on the country singles charts.

‘Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye’ hit the #1 spot on the Mediabase/Country Aircheck chart last week and this week the song has matched that accomplishment on the Billboard Country Singles chart. This is not only Luke’s 6th #1 single overall; it is also the 3rd chart topper in a row off his current album ‘Tailgates & Tanlines.’ Luke topped the charts with ‘I Don’t Want This Night To End’ and ‘Drunk On You’ from the album prior to this #1 single.

Luke wrote ‘Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye’ with Jeff Stevens and Shane McAnally. The song is oone that Luke is particularly proud of. “I think the chorus of that thing is some of the best writing that I’ve ever been a part of and I love the simplicity of the verses, “ Luke says, adding: “just love ‘Girl, rest your head.’ I love all that the melodies and all that through the song.”

Luke is not resting on his recent #1 success. He is currently in the studio working on his next album.

Although they have not released the date tickets will go on sale yet, Luke will be bringing his 2013 'Dirt Road Diaries Tour' to Bloomington's US Cellular Coliseum February 17th. As soon as the on sale date for tickets is released, we will share that information with you on B104. Plus, you KNOW B104 will have tickets for you to WIN to Luke's Bloomington concert!

Congratulations to Luke Bryan on his #1 hit ‘Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye.” You can watch the music video for the song below.
