Luke Bryan was used to playing in front of sold out crowds while on the “My Kinda Party” tour with Jason Aldean last year. But now, Luke is having no problem selling out venues for his first headlining tour, especially the U.S Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington.
After the B104 insider pre-sale sold out quickly Thursday morning, it was easy to expect much of the same when the general public tickets went on sale at 10am Friday morning. And that's exactly what happened. Now, when Luke Bryan, Thompson Square and Florida Georgia Line head to Bloomington on February 17th, they’ll be performing in front of a sold out crowd.
So just how long did it take for Luke Bryan's show to sell out? Only one minute. That ties Sugarland for the record at the U.S Cellular Coliseum. Two weeks ago Carrie Underwood's show at the Coliseum set for May sold out in just 15 minutes. That puts her at 5th on the list of record time sell outs.
Luke Bryan joins rare company on the list of country concerts held at the U.S Cellular Coliseum that have sold out quickly:
T-1.) Luke Bryan - 1 minute
T-1.) Sugarland - 1 minute
2.) Kenny Chesney - 2 minutes
3.) Brooks and Dunn - 3 minutes
4.) Brad Paisley - 10 minutes
5.) Carrie Underwood - 15 minutes
6.) Eric Church - 30 minutes
Comedian Rodney Carrington has also planned a stop at the U.S Cellular Coliseum on February 14th. Tickets go on sale Friday, December 7th at 11am. Get all the details here!
