Thanksgiving is great for spending time with family eating, playing games, eating, lounging around, eating and FOOTBALL. There were three NFL games yesterday and my favorite one was the Washington Redskins take on the Dallas Cowboys. Watching Robert Griffin play is a joy, but neither is my favorite team. Like a lot of you I was waiting for the half – time show.
Kenny Chesney opened the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Drive with a great performance. This has been a tradition for 16 years during the Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving game that they host every year.
My favorite part was when a girl crawled on stage and Kenny wrapped his arm around her and hugged her. I couldn’t tell if he asked her to come on stage or she did it on her own.
Kenny Chesney didn’t disappoint as he featured three of his biggest hits ‘Rockstar’, ‘I Go Back’ and ‘Boys of Fall’.
It must have helped motivate the Cowboys because they almost came back and won after a miserable first half.
If you would like to donate this year the Salvation Army would appreciate it - JD Justice
