Kellie Pickler is beautiful both inside and out, and she is definitely more brave than me! A few days ago, Kellie shaved her head in support of her best friend Summer who she considers a big sister. Summer was diagnosed with breast cancer back in June and they made a pact that they would shave their heads together...but they decided to be proactive, and before Summer's hair could fall out, they decided to take the matter into their own hands. 

Kellie said that not only has the experience helped her friend Summer, but it's also helped Kellie. Her grandmother was passed away from cancer one day after the diagnosis, and she never got to experience the journey with the woman who raised her. This not only helps Summer because she has a cancer buddy, but Kellie can get a little bit of closure with her grandmother's death.
