This morning (11/14) Keith Urban announced the first leg of his 2013 North American Tour. Joining Keith on tour next year will be Little Big Town and Dustin Lynch.
Keith has been busy filming as a judge for ‘American Idol,’ but not too busy to care of his main gig. He has been busy working on a new album in the studio that will come out in 2013. He has also put together a headlining tour for 2013. Yesterday Keith teased the announcement would be made today in an 'Urban Chat' video.
Keith said he really loves his main job, making music and playing concerts. "I really love, love what I do. It’s really important," he said, continuing: "it’s just that lessons in gratitude that’s a daily thing. And I think if you really love it, it’s something people pick up on."
Keith will take CMA Vocal Group of the Year Little Big Town as well as country music newcomer Dustin Lynch along as special guests to open the shows. The first leg of the tour kicks off in Cincinnati, Ohio July 18th and hits 25 cities through October 5th. The closest Keith Urban’s 2013 North American Tour comes to us here in Central Illinois is Indianapolis, Indian August 24th. Let’s hope more dates are added that are closer.
