Jason Aldean is ending an already amazing year with new that his latest album 'Night Train' has been certified platinum.

'Night Train' is Jason's fifth studio album and reached the sales mark of more than 1,000,000 copies sold just four weeks after it's release to earn the platinum certification. The album debuted at number one on both the Billboard Country Album and Top 200 all genre charts in the first week of release. 'Night Train' is selling faster than his previous album "My Kinda Party' which reached double platinum status.

The debut single from the album, 'Take A Little Ride' spent three weeks at number one and Jason's sixth consecutive number one single. The current single from the project teams Jason with his friends Luke Bryan and Eric Church on the song 'The Only Way I Know.' That single is also quickly climbing the country singles charts as 2012 nears it's end.

Jason's 2013 'Night Train Tour' kicks off February 21st and includes stops at at least four sold out stadium shows. The stdium shows include a two night stop at Boston's Fenway Park as well as stops at Chicago's Wrigley Field and the University of Georgia's Sanford Stadium.

Jason has just been added to the lineup for 'Dick Clark’s New Years Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2013' in New York City. You can bet Jason will be ready to celebrate 2012 and get 2013 kicked off when the legendary special airs starting at 9 p.m. central time on the ABC TV network.
