Jason Aldean announced his stadium concerts for 2013 last week which included a Fenway Park stop. Tickets for the Fenway Park show went on sale this morning and were gone in seven minutes!
That’s right, it took just seven minutes for Jason to sell out the ball park that will seat over 37,000 people for the ‘Night Train Tour’ stop when tickets went on sale this morning (10/26). The concert won’t even take place until July 13th of 2013 and tickets to the show featuring Jason Aldean with special guests Miranda Lambert, Jake Owen and Thomas Rhett are all gone!
Jason said in a statement on his website: “When we started talking about playing stadiums, my only request was to play venues that were special and really meant something to me. At 100 years old, Fenway Park is one of the most iconic baseball stadium in the country and there is absolutely nothing in the world that could be more special than selling that place out…as an entertainer and as a huge baseball fan. This has been the most unbelievable week…all I can say is THANK YOU.”
Jason also announced a Wrigley Field stop for the ‘Night Train Tour’ in 2013. That show will take place July 20th of next year on Chicago’s north side. Joining Jason for that show will be Jake Owen and Thomas Rhett as in Boston. However, for the Wrigley Field date Kelly Clarkson will take Miranda’s place on the bill.
Tickets for the Wrigley Field stop of Jason’s ‘Night Train Tour’ will go on sale Saturday, November 3rd at 10 am. The home of the Chicago Cubs can seat over 41,000 fans. While that is a little more than Fenway, one can only assume that the Jason Aldean ‘Night Train Tour’ stop scheduled for Wrigley will sell equally as fast as the Fenway date did.
If you are hoping to get a ticket to the Wrigley Field Jason Aldean concert, you may want to start doing some finger exercises to make sure you are at maximum finger dexterity for the on sale date.
